August quickies

August turns out to be a lot like May. (The first one or two of these may actually be from very end of May. I don’t quite recall.) 2021 continues to be a lousy year for this sort of thing — frustrating, since the impulse is pretty much continually with me.
Just a handful of the little impromptu heads this time, as you can see. I never start these head doodles with reference to anything specific and never have much of an idea where they’re going to go, and it’s a wonderful brief diversion every time, finding out what emerges under the pencil. When I’ve got a moment and the degree of mental energy and clarity to do it, that is.
Oh hey, the first of these posts was also an August (nominally), two years ago.
